This is Shapely, a casual puzzle game about placing blocks to fit into an image. (A bit like a jigsaw puzzle I guess)

Please be aware that although a HTML web version of the game is provided above, we strongly DO NOT recommend its use, due to its overall lower quality, and it NOT WORKING on MacOS and IOS.

Made for the 4th Vimjam in 10-ish days.

How To Play:

Drag and drop items from your inventory onto the gridded space. The Items may not overlap, and they must fit completely. Once all items have been placed, you will be taken to the next level.

You can replace a shape if you misclick, however once you add a new shape, old ones cannot be moved anymore. (This is denoted by them being fully opaque)

If you mess up, you will have to use the Timeline at the top of the screen.

Click on a point in time, to create a checkpoint. Click that checkpoint to go back in time, and undo your mistakes

How does this game fit the Theme, Focus and Diversifier?

Focus: The focus of Vimjam 4 was Checkpoint. When you make mistakes in this game, you can place checkpoints to go back in time, and undo said mistakes

Diversifier: Vimjam 4 had three optional diversifiers, of which one: Shapely is used in this game. All the shapes in this game are either Rectangles or Triangles. (Minus the font, which I don't think counts)

Theme: The theme of Vimjam 4 was Cross Paths. In order to build your image, your shapes may not overlap, meaning that the paths of the edges of your shapes may not cross each other
